This four-week class will explore how the physical, mental, and spiritual practices of yoga can enhance the writing creative process.
Writing involves expressing the internal. Yoga can help us go within to find more mental clarity, connect with our intuition, and work through perfectionism and over-thinking. It can encourage experimentation, exploration, curiosity, and play. On a physical level, a yoga practice can help us stretch, release tension, and strengthen our bodies after hours of sitting and hunching over our phones and computers every day.
Each class will include:
Yoga experience is welcome but not required! We will be sitting on mats on the floor and doing some gentle seated and standing movement. Wear comfortable clothes and socks. Shoes are left in the waiting area as the studio classroom is shoe-free.
