Where to begin writing about ourselves? We all have a story to tell, but sometimes the biggest challenge is getting started: unknotting the thread of your life to find the beginning.
Jean Hannah Edelstein, author of two critically-acclaimed memoirs, will guide participants toward finding a place to start telling their personal stories. In this workshop, writers will map out an overall vision for their narrative and discover how to draw out the key pieces of their stories that will help build real connections with wide audiences.
All you need is the kernel of an idea of what you’d like to write about to join this workshop. Through discussion, exercises, and supportive sharing, you’ll leave with a beginning and a rough map to help you write on.
