Fiction and poetry based on visual art is called ekphrastic writing. It's found in works as diverse as Girl with a Pearl Earring, A Piece of the World, Moby Dick, and Ode on a Grecian Urn. In this workshop you'll see examples of ekphrastic writing ... discover for yourself how to find these magic, idea-generating works of art... write using visual prompts ... and share your work.
