Narrative poems tell stories, while lyric poems capture the essence of powerful emotions – love, longing and grief. The key is to decide in the revision process what we are writing and what elements of craft we may use to make them work. This two-part workshop will look at both styles of poems and will give participants a chance to share drafts in an online workshop environment.
