Sure, you can write a nonfiction piece in 3000 words, in 1000 words. But how about in 750? Or 500? Or even 300 or 100 words? Whether you call it flash or micro nonfiction, finely-written works of short nonfiction prose that tell a big story are in big demand. Learn some secrets to the craft of writing short, what literary journals, websites, and other online venues seek in this form, and write and polish a few pieces of your own.
